Who qualifies under the Education category

IRCC’s Education category targets a short list of NOCs. Current guidance and industry summaries indicate five eligible occupations (confirm you meet the specific round’s instructions):

  • 41220 Secondary school teachers

  • 41221 Elementary school and kindergarten teachers

  • 42202 Early childhood educators and assistants

  • 42203 Instructors of persons with disabilities

  • 43100 Elementary and secondary school teacher assistants 

If you received an ITA today

  • Accept & apply within the IRCC deadline and upload proofs (language, ECA/education, work experience letters, police checks, funds as applicable).
